Hank is a Sphynx cat and an emotional support animal. He loves cuddling and sitting in your lap. He provides emotional support and comfort to the patient. Humans interacting with animals have found that petting the animal promotes the release of serotonin, prolactin, and oxytocin- all hormones that can play a part in elevating moods. Hank can participate in ways that can help reduce symptoms, reduce stress, build resilience, enhance psychotherapy, and improve wellbeing. He will be in the offices once a week to help support patients.
